Wi-Tronix systems take full advantage of Internet Protocol (IP).  This is the same protocol that is used for your corporate networks, the World Wide Web and home Internet Service Providers.  IP is also supported by all of today's cellular and Wi-Fi Hot Spots.  Our products connect your organization directly to your mobile assets with a complete end-to-end IP network.

The IP connection provided by Wi-Tronix supports all of the common IP based protocols (HTTP, UDP, TCP, SNMP).  Additionally, the Wi-Tronix architecture supports newer applications that take advantage of Voice over IP (VoIP) and streaming video.
Data Transport Security
Wi-Tronix's data transport mechanisms are built on the Object Management Group (OMG) open standards for Real Time Distributed Systems (RTDS). This means that your Wi-Tronix system comes with the flexibility to grow along with your business needs.  Even more important, the Wi-Tronix's architecture allows for the integration of applications developed in-house, through third parties or purchased 'shrink wrapped'.  Wi-Tronix's use of open standard protocols protects your investment through the support of a large multi-industry user base and customer driven life cycle support. Wi-Tronix's architecture sets a new standard in securely connecting mobile systems.  The Wi-Tronix platform supports extensible security implementations.  Wi-Tronix can adapt our security configuration to meet the data security requirements of your existing wired and wireless network infrastructure. 

We support Virtual Private Network (VPN) encryption and authentication.  Additionally, each Wi-PU is registered as a domain computer on a central server and has a unique certificate that is linked to each Wi-PU's electronic serial number.  This ensures that every Wi-PU's identity is validated each time it connects to the backoffice.
