Lawrence B. Jordan Jr.
President
Larry is the President and co-founder of Wi-Tronix.
Before founding Wi-Tronix, Larry managed the development of electronic systems for GM
Electro-Motive. At Electro-Motive, he led the development of the IntelliTrain
remote monitoring system and the FIRE cab electronics system. Larry is
an active member of committees within the Association of American Railroads that establish
industry standards for electronic systems. Larry holds multiple
patents in the area of locomotive control systems. He received the BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Illinois
Institute of Technology in 1989 and the MS degree in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
in 1992.

Michael D. Heilmann
Executive Vice President - Business Development
Mike is the Executive Vice-President and co-founder of Wi-Tronix.
Before founding Wi-Tronix, Mike was a Project Engineer for GM Electro-Motive where he led
the development of the IntelliTrain remote monitoring system. Mike is an active member of
committees within the Association of American Railroads that establish industry standards for
electronic systems. Mike is a former Army Signal Corps Officer. Mike received
the BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Penn State in 1989 and the Master of Business
Administration degree from Illinois Institute of Technology in 2004.

Duane D. Hong
Vice President - Customer Service & Operations
Duane is Vice President of Wi-Tronix. Prior to joining Wi-Tronix,
he was Senior Project Engineer at GM Electro-Motive where he led the integration of
wireless devices into the FIRE cab electronics platform. Duane brings to the Wi-Tronix
team over seven years experience in product engineering and customer support. Duane
graduated from the Northwestern University McCormick School of Engineering with a Bachelors of
Science in Electrical Engineering in 1997.

Lisa A. Matta
Vice President - Product Development
Lisa is Vice President of Wi-Tronix. Prior to joining Wi-Tronix,
she was a Senior Project Engineer at GM Electro‑Motive where she led the development of
the FIRE cab electronics platform and the integration of the Wabtec FastBrake system.
Lisa brings to the Wi‑Tronix team over five years experience in project management
and electronic systems integration. Appointed as a
Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society
National Official, Lisa facilitates professional development seminars
to engineering students in teamwork, leadership, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
She received her BS degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toledo in 1997
and her MSE degree in Computer Science and Engineering from University of Michigan in 1999.

Fred E. Cozzi
Vice President - Sales
Fred is Vice President of Sales at Wi-Tronix. Prior to joining Wi-Tronix, Fred was Regional
Sales Manager at Portec Rail Products, Inc. where he developed and maintained relationships
with Class 1 railroads, short lines, and maintenance facilities. Fred brings over 7 years of
industry experience. He received his B.A. in Business Administration at Lewis University in 1996.
